Create for a Cause Recap

October 14, 2024

We launched our first ever Create for a Cause event in 2024 with a goal of connecting a non-profit or women-owned business with our marketing expertise. Here are the results!

Our 2024 selectee, Naperville Education Foundation, raises and grants funds for programs that enhance and enrich the education experience of Naperville Community Unit School District 203 students.

They have a fantastic mission and help so many kids in the district! The problem was, they didn’t have all the resources they needed to effectively promote NEF at community events. They were looking for something to leave in the hands of the folks that stopped by their booth. The last time their brochure was updated was in the 2000s, and it was overdue for a glow-up!

NEF now has a new brochure, postcard, and pull-up banner to use at events, and we have a better understanding of an important non-profit right in our backyard.

Here is what NEF Executive Director Wendy Goettsch and Marketing and Communications Coordinator Laaiba Mahmood had to say: We appreciated that the Ross Creative Works team took a lot of time to get to know us and push us on thinking through the strategy and the wording. It prompted conversations that would be beneficial beyond this project.

A big thank you to everyone who participated! If you or someone you know are interested in participating in Create for a Cause, please apply! We are now accepting applications for summer 2025.
